Is your music spread over multiple Spotify pages?

As the title says, is your music spread over multiple Spotify pages? If so, then it doesn't have to stay that way. Spotify has a page with a form on it for you to fill in, so that you can notify them of any discrepancies regarding your music.

For instance you might of had a name change over the years, resulting in your music being spread over separate pages, or you might of changed music distributors, and they have caused the music to be spread over different pages.

All is not lost though and you can get it all back in one place with a small amount of effort.

Now listed on YTA ~ Alayna

With a lifelong dream to fulfill and her Breedlove Atlas series AC25-SR Plus guitar in hand, Alayna loaded her car up with a few necessities and left the small town of Butler, Pennsylvania.

That was in the summer of 2011.

Three years later she was writing with hit songwriters such as Steve Dean and Kirsti Manna, and playing well-known venues like The Listening Room and Bluebird Cafe, as well as gaining an endorsement from her favorite guitar company, Breedlove.

In 2015, Alayna ran a crowd funding project on Kickstarter to enable her to create and release a six song EP. She was successful and the EP titled "The Wrong Side" charted at #30 on the iTunes UK Country charts.

Get your Spotify Artist page verified

If you are an artist, you should consider getting your Spotify artist page verified. It's a quick and easy procedure so don't hold back, do it now.

Once verified you will have a blue checkmark added to your profile, just as with any other verification on other sites. You will be able to interact with fans and fellow artists, just as you can interact with a personal spotify account. You will also be able to tailor your profile, thus making it stand out from others that have not been verified.

Online Music

I've kind of covered this before, but in two separate posts, Google+ and Google Play Music and Mammoth YouTube Artists playlist on Spotify.

Google Play Music and iTunes

First off, it still astounds me that artists post their iTunes link everywhere but often overlook their Google Play Music link. In fact I often search Google Play Music for an artists music when I see they have it on iTunes, only to find they haven't even put their music on Google Play Music. This is just madness considering how many Android users there now are.

New band listing on YTA ~ Facing West

Since 2014, two girls from high above Denver, Colorado, eight thousand feet high in the mountains to be more exact, have been performing together as Facing West. Those two girls are Caitlin & Sidney.

This singing/songwriting duo have only been posting videos on YouTube since February 2016 though, but are already gaining views that many others can only dream of.

Watching their well produced videos it is easy to see why their popularity is gaining ground the way it is. The ratio of likes to dislikes on Facing West's videos is of a good proportion and backs up my feeling that these girls have something special going on.

Caitlin & Sidney are currently writing, co-writing and planning an EP release, which I look forward to with much anticipation.

New YTA listing ~ Hollie Steel

Singer Hollie Steel resides in both Lancashire & London in the UK and was born on 1st July, 1998.

Hollie auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in April 2009 and received a standing ovation from all of the judges and the audience when she sang 'I Could Have Danced All Night'. She then went on to finish in 6th place.

Hollie is lucky enough to be able to count places such as Bali, Hong Kong and New York as places where she has performed, as well as touring the UK playing the part of Louisa in 'The Sound Of Music'.

Now you can find her posting videos on YouTube, some are just casual at home videos, some are full blown production videos. One at home video shows Hollie as a fun loving girl, but what remains constant is that no matter what concept of video it is, they are all great to watch and listen to.

Newly added artist on YTA ~ Stacey Bannon

Stacey Bannon grew up in the tiny town of Orono, Ontario, but growing up in a tiny town didn't stop this country singer from dreaming big.

Not confined to just singing country, Stacey has covered songs by artists such as Katy Perry and Adele. In fact she has an acapella cover of Adele's "Rumour Has It" on her YouTube channel.

Stacey has originals as well as covers online, one in particular titled "Sleepless Nights" is extremely good. Her original "Outta My Head" is amazing.

It looks like a songwriting trip that she had to Nashville really paid off. It brought Stacey face-to-face with industry experts such as Willie Mack, Kim Tribble, Patricia Conroy and Danick Dupelle.

New listing on YTA ~ Andie Case

Andie Case is a singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA.

This singer recently released her first piece of original work, titled Coming Around. Both an audio video of it and an acoustic video of it have done extremely well with regards to views and comments on her YouTube channel. It certainly gained the right ratio of likes to dislikes.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find out much else about Andie as all of her about sections on her pages are quite sparce.

I guess when your vocals say it all, then words on about sections are less needed, and Andie's voice certainly does say it all. It's amazing.

Goodbye and Rest In Peace Christina Grimmie

On 24th July 2011, YouTube Artists featured a very lovable, lively and vibrant young keyboard player / singer - 17 year old Christina Grimmie. Today on the 11th June 2016, I woke to the shocking news that Christina had been shot dead, at the young and tender age of 22, whilst signing autographs for her fans after performing a show for them at a Florida concert venue.

Looking on social media sites, as I always do soon after waking up, I saw a post on Instagram by Tiffany Alvord about the horrible news. I actually thought I was seeing things, or that maybe I had not woken up yet, maybe I was asleep and dreaming. Unfortunately it was true, and searching Google revealed the horrible truths behind it.
